What is Shared Dreaming?
Shared dreaming is the practice of exploring dreams together within a supportive and respectful community.
While dreams arise from the inner world of each individual, they often carry themes and symbols that resonate across human experience. When dreams are shared and reflected upon together, new perspectives and insights can emerge that might otherwise remain unseen.
Within the Dreamweaver Network, shared dreaming invites participants to listen deeply, reflect openly, and explore the symbolic language of dreams in a collective space.
Why Explore Dreams Together
Dreams have been shared in communities for thousands of years across many cultures. In these traditions, dreams were often viewed as meaningful messages that could offer insight, guidance, and connection.
When we listen to one another’s dreams, we begin to notice patterns, archetypes, and shared experiences that connect us.
Shared dreaming allows us to explore dreams not as isolated events, but as part of a wider human story.
Dream Circles
Dream circles are gatherings where participants are invited to share dreams and explore their meaning together.
Within these circles:
• dreams may be shared and reflected upon
• symbols and themes may be explored
• participants listen with curiosity rather than judgement
• insights emerge through collective reflection
The intention is not to interpret dreams for others, but to create a space where meaning can arise naturally through dialogue and shared awareness.
